Patty Hearst, aka Tania, the granddaughter of newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst, posed for this shot for the S.L.A. in 1974. The S.L.A. (Symbionese Liberaton Army) was a revolutionary group who's goal was the overthrow of the U.S. government and a re-distribution of wealth. Patty joined them and helped in a bank robbery. She later claimed she had been brainwashed and all charges against her were dropped (imagine that!).
The poster I have for sale is not the original printing because there is no copyright info on it. It is problably a bootleg made at the time of the event in San Francisco.
The poster is in near mint condition and is printed on thin paper stock. |
